Breaking into VR for the Non-Technical

Jordan Braunstein is an East Coast native who came to San Francisco 4 years ago looking for a more fulfilling career path . An Economics major with a decade of B2B client-facing experience in finance and tech, he went from a spark of fascination with VR, to his current position as Director of Sales and Support at Vivid Vision in about 18 months, without any preexisting connections to the VR dev/maker community. He’s glad to share his experience with other non-technical (in the coding ability sense) VR enthusiasts, and how they can leverage a diverse array of skills to add value in a startup environment defined by intellectual capital.
